General Cleaning of Bouncy Castles:
Your inflatables and bouncy castles will become dirty. We hope that the following will help you to keep your inflatables clean of dirt and grime that will build up over use. We recommend that the following methods are only adopted on the PVC, we do not recommend using them on the artwork, how to clean your digital printing is covered in another section.
Bouncy castles can be cleaned with sugar soap, this works well and is available from most supermarkets.
Kitchen cream cleaner is very good for removing a build up of ground in dirt. We suggest using a green scrubber and work the cream cleaner in then leave for approx 5 minutes and wash off with a dishcloth and clean warm water.
Diluted Kitchen multi purpose cleaner from supermarkets can be used to clean your bouncy castles. We suggest mixing 3 parts water to 1 part multi purpose kitchen cleaner. It removes the dirt from the grain of the PVC and leaves your inflatable smelling fresh.
Remember: Always test any cleaning solution on a piece of PVC that cannot be seen. Air Inflatables takes no responsibility for any damage caused by using any cleaning solution advised in this blog. Please be especially careful on or around the artwork.
Removing of Face Paints:
If you arrive to collect your bouncy castle from a customer and find face paint on the PVC which has not dried this can be removed with wet wipes.
Remember: Always test any cleaning solution on a piece of PVC that cannot be seen. Air Inflatables takes no responsibility for any damage caused by using any cleaning solution advised in this blog.
Removal of Sand from Bouncy Castles:
We recommend that a small vacuum cleaning be carried in the van with your bouncy castles. If you arrive to collect your bouncy castle and you find that the castle is covered in sand or loose dirt this can be vacuumed off the seams whilst the inflatable is still inflated. Please be especially careful on or around the artwork.
Cleaning of the Digital Printing:
If your digital printing has become dirty we recommend that you use washing up liquid and a soft anti-scratch foam pad that are available from supermarkets. This can be use to clean off any external dirt or residue from the digital printing. We do however recommend that you are especially careful when cleaning the digital printing.
